visual (or visible) drawer fronts
visual fronts are special optional drawer fronts that give the front side of the drawer a fully finished appearance. visual fronts are recommended if the front side of the drawer will be directly viewed by the consumer (for example, a kitchen pantry storage drawer). visual fronts are available for all drawer types and are made of solid beech.

scoop fronts
scoop fronts are visual fronts with a shallow handle in the center. scoop fronts are available for all drawer types and are made of solid beech. scoop fronts are 5 mm (nominal .20”) taller than the adjacent sides. Maximum standard scoop front height is 155 mm (nominal 6 1/16”).

front borings
special drillings made in the drawer front to mount a decorative front, drawer front adjusters, decorative hardware etc. order the valendrawers standard front borings or specify a special drilling pattern (please forward drawing).

concealed runner preparation
available for most makes and models of concealed drawer runners. typical concealed runner prep includes notching and drilling of the drawer back. customer must specify the make and model of the drawer runner.

divider rips
horizontal grooves installed in drawer sides to hold vertical internal dividers. submit drawing of requested rip pattern.
